Imperial Russian Fabergé Egg No. 11, the Rosebud Egg
This is a authentic 1895 Imperial Fabergé Egg No. 11, the Rosebud Egg. This Rosebud Fabergé jewelry box egg is based on a jeweled enameled Easter egg made by Mikhail Perchin under the supervision of the Russian jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé in 1895. The egg was made for Nicholas II of Russia, who presented it to his wife, Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna. This pristine Egg is a beautiful, shimmering red color accented with golden bars, curves and arrows,all of which are heavily embellished with crystals. Upon opening the egg, there is a velvet encased gold enameled globe. When removed from the egg, the globe opens to yet another surprise; a gold and crystal year 2000 pin. This gorgeous egg comes with a stand and the original Faberge velvet case. The pin is missing the pin but has the closure. The egg is in immaculate condition and readay to be displayed in your home.
