1934A FRN San Fransisco L 35 PMG Rating Choice Very Fine

The United States Ferderal Reserve printed small size $1000 Notes in three series: 1928, 1934, and 1934-A. There are a total of 35 combinations of Federal Reserve Notes available, from varying series and districts; There are 12 districts, and three series (with the exception of Series 1934A Dallas, of which none were printed). These fascinating pieces of American History are important records of the Federal Reserve Notes; they make an unmistakably notable contribution to any collection! And while these notes are still technically United States legal tender, these high-denomination bills were last printed in December of 1945 (officially discontinued in July of 1969 by the Federal Reserve System), supposedly due to lack of use.
This Federal Reserve Note is from the 1934-A Series, printed in the San Fransisco district.
